The Chicago Printing Ink Production Club held the 2023 CPIPC Christmas Party at Belvedere Events & Banquets, Elk Grove Village, IL on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2023. The party was attended by 123 members, 28 companies, guests, and supporters who enjoyed this event to socialize, drink and dine, acknowledge awards and officers, dance and say “Merry Christmas.” 

Russell Heinzinger of Ravago Chemical organized and presided as past president for the 2023 CPIPC Christmas Party and presented Kacy Schultz of Sun Chemical with the Ink Person of the Year Award and David Tappa of BASF with the Supplier of the Year Award and plaques from the CPIPC for our appreciation of their outstanding service and dedication to the industry.

Also recognized was Arshad Khan of IGM Resins for serving as 2023 president by Erik Olson of Producers Chemical Company, who became 2024 president-elect.

Next up for the club is the February 2024 Technical Meeting on Feb 20, with Mouhcine Kanouni, PhD presenting on “Clariant Biopolymer-Based Additives for Printing Inks” after dinner at La Hacienda De Los Fernandez, 1571 W Lake St, Addison, IL  60101. Dinner is at 6 p.m.
